Q: What documents and information do I need to bring with me to have my tax returns filed?
A: You will need any W2 forms from your employer. Also any statements of interest, dividends, mortgage interest, and unemployment earnings. Be sure to have dependent's information as well. You will also need one of the following forms of identification: drivers license or social security card.
Q: What if I am self-employed and do not have a W-2 form from any employer?
A: Be sure to bring any 1099's you have along with written proof of any earnings, expenses and mileage (if applicable) related to your self-employment.
Q: What is the fastest way to file my tax return and receive my refund?
A: The fastest way to file would be through the IRS E-File system and have your refund direct deposited into your bank account. For direct deposit, you will need your bank account number and routing number.
Q: What is the deadline for filing my tax return in Albany, GA?
